Before coming to Ireja, Miyuki worked with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the National Institute of Informatics, and Morgan Stanley. Her professional experience has taught her the value of usability, and she brings this focus to all of Ireja's projects. Fluent in Japanese and English, she has extensive experience in developing solutions for end-users of various cultural backgrounds.
Jim DeWees
Senior Partner and Web Technologies Consultant
Upon moving to Japan, Jim quickly got his foothold working as a Web Developer and Systems Administrator for the Perceptional Dynamics laboratory of the Brain Science Institute at RIKEN. His childhood passion for solving puzzles endures through his technical skills and ablities and he thrives on creating original solutions and troubleshooting technical problems.
In his free time, Jim enjoys developing programs for facilitating routine computer-related activities. He tries to avoid using a mouse whenever possible and appreciates the utility of the command line. He also enjoys traveling, having spent two and a half years backpacking through parts of the world before ending up in Japan.
Ken Worsley
Senior Partner and Marketing Consultant
Fleunt in English and Japanese, Ken began developing websites for clients in Japan shortly after arriving in 2000. He has also done extensive translation and business consulting work. His consulting has focused on developing marketing and market entry solutions for companies seeking to establish a foothold in the Japanese market.
Ken runs the marketing and SEO wings of Ireja, but he is fully able to write code when the need arises. He is a large proponent of blogging for business, and actively develops BFB solutions for his various clients. When not working, he enjoys watching the Red Sox and researching and writing for his Japan Economy News website.
